College Green Wednesday PM - The place to be!

Thank you for your continued support via the Trust's special website for City's exciting new stadium plans. These are currently at a critical stage and the club needs your support now more than ever. Bristol City Council's planning committee is meeting this Wednesday, 4th November, at 6pm to decide on planning permission for the new stadium and it is vital that they give the plans the go-ahead.

How can you help?

1. Gary Johnson and the City squad will be at College Green from 5pm on Wednesday to back the the stadium proposals and need you to join them to show your support. You can go to to download a "say YES!" placard to bring with you. The TV cameras will be there, and it's going to be really important to show how much we want the new stadium! If you can't be there in person, you can watch it online - Bristol City Council live viewer

2. We also need to pack the council chamber. Doors open at 5:15pm but to ensure you get a spot you'll need to be there as early as you can.

3. Watch out for the Evening Post stadium stories on and then log on and leave your comments in support of the stadium plans.

4. Tell all your friends, family and work-mates that Wednesday is D-Day for the stadium plans, and that as City fans we all need to back the club's ambitions NOW! Thanks once more for your continued support. City are on track to move into the new stadium in 2012 - let's keep it that way!

PS: Our next meeting - open to all - is on Tuesday, November 3rd (details here).
