Nominate Your Supporter of the Year

Bristol City Supporters Trust and the Supporters Club are once again seeking your nominations for the Supporter of the Year.

Ian receives award from Louis Carey
Do you know someone you think is worthy of following in the footsteps of last year’s inaugural winner, Ian Cottle?

Ian won it for his unbroken run of 650 consecutive matches and for helping his brother get to numerous games. Perhaps you know another fan who has shown great commitment to following the team or who has also helped others?

Who's next?
Maybe this year’s winner will be a fan who has improved City supporters’ reputation or played a strong and positive role in the community?

Perhaps the winner has helped improve the atmosphere or improved your enjoyment of watching matches?

Or could it be someone who has kept coming despite having to face personal struggles to do so, or even someone who has just kept coming for years and years?

Give us your nomination
Whatever the reason you think they’re worthy, we want to hear from you. Please put your reason for nominating him or her down in writing in no more than 100 words. Nominations over 100 words will be edited.

Please send your nomination letter to Supporter of the Year, Bristol City Supporters Trust, Bristol City Football Club, Ashton Gate, Bristol, BS3 2EJ or to Nick@bristolcityst.org.uk (with the subject line ‘Supporter of the Year’) by Monday 14th April.

A shortlist of five supporters will be selected from those nominated and these will be put to the players to vote for the winner.

Players to pick the winner
Their chosen winner will be announced at the Player of the Year awards ceremony on Thursday 8th May. All supporters making the shortlist will be offered a pair of VIP seats for the occasion.

We’re also delighted that once again the Club have embraced this opportunity to pay tribute to the fans by awarding a free Season Ticket to the winner.

So go ahead and put the icing on the cake of someone’s season!
