Notice of 2nd Annual General Meeting

Notice of 2nd Annual General Meeting

Notice is hereby given that the second Annual General Meeting of the Bristol City Supporters Society Limited will be held in the Chairman’s Lounge, Bristol City Football Club, Ashton Gate, Bristol on Tuesday 29th May, 2007, 7:30pm.

Both members and non-members are invited to this meeting which will provide an opportunity for fans to hear Trust Chair Stuart Rogers report on the previous financial year and update members on the Trust’s plans for the future. There will also be the opportunity for a Q&A and for members to vote on the proposed resolutions. After the formal business there will be an open meeting to which all are invited to attend.

The Trust’s financial accounts are currently in the process of being audited with completion due in the next five to ten days. It is expected that the auditor will declare the accounts as giving a true and fair view of the Trust’s activities. The audit itself was started in February with completion delayed due to the Trust needing authorisation from the Inland Revenue to offset volunteers’ time spent on projects against its corporation tax liability. This year has been very much a learning process in this respect.

A copy of the audited accounts, chairman’s and director’s reports, candidate statements, agenda and proxy forms will be on the Trust web-site by 22nd May and hard copies will be posted to all members who have requested postal correspondence.

Please can all members attending the AGM bring their membership cards with them. The AGM will be open to both members and non-members. However only members or their proxies will be able to vote on proposed resolutions.

Yours faithfully,

Gavin Mapstone
Secretary
