Statement On The Sale of Middlesbrough Tickets
Like many Bristol City fans the Supporters Trust has been disappointed with certain aspects of how the Club has handled the sale of tickets for the FA Cup Fourth Round match against Middlesbrough, on Saturday January 27th, 2007.
We have summarised our concerns and made suggestions for improvement and sent them to Chairman Steve Lansdown and Chief Executive Colin Sexstone. We have requested that this features on the agenda at the Clubís Board meeting, next Monday, 22nd January, which will be attended by the Trustís Acting Chair Stuart Rogers. We aim to work with the Club to make real improvements for the future.
Areas that we are addressing include avoiding bottleneck demand by staggering sales, allowing loyal supporters an improved chance to purchase tickets for big matches, improving Internet ticket sales for season ticket holders and minimising supporter costs incurred when ringing the 0870 ticket hotline.
Supporters with any questions, suggestions or requiring further information can contact either Stuart (email@example.com) or Nick Tomkins, Fans Representation Officer (firstname.lastname@example.org).
